Yeast infection from antibiotic?

I got an antibiotic from my doc and started taking it last Thursday. Now it feels like I have a yeast infection. Ugh is it even possible to get a yeast infection from antibiotics? The name of antibiotics is cephalexin.

Yes. That's the only way I get a yeast infection.

Yes, it is possible. Thats how I get them, it sucks!

Thats the most common side affect. Even men can get them !!!

the only way I don't get them when I take antibiotics is if I eat yogart.

If you want a more natural (& effective) solution go to the yogurt aisle at the store. Get plain, no sugar, yogurt and use it over Monistat.

I'll try and do that tomorrow. I'm also gonna give my doc a call and see what he says about taking the rest of the meds. Fun stuff....Thanks everyone!!
