If you have more than one child...

When it came time to potty train your second child, did your oldest seem to help out a lot? M is starting to show some major interest in going on the potty, K took him potty twice today. He didn't do anything, but she sat there and cheered for him and encouraged him -- she was such a huge helper & so excited that he was interested in it. They both clapped, she told him good job, and etc. I heard her ask him a few times today, "Hey, brother. Do you need to go potty? You just tell me if you do and I'll take you, ok?"  

I have nothing to add other than how sweet she sounds

She has her days! I'm thinking I'll just sit back and see if she can train him.  

Yes. My son did help his little sister a lot with the encouragement. That and her watching him go helped a lot.

Awwwwwww! She sounds like my older kid!!! She actually changed a crap diaper on the little one. It was the cutest thing in the world. My little one just turned 18 months. Potty training soon. We have the best big sisters in the world!!! How old is your older one? Mine is 4.

This is how it started for him, too. Every time she goes, he wants to sit next to her on his "pot pot". Now he is stripping his diaper 24/7 and asking to go to the potty. I don't feel ready to train him, but we'll see what happens. I'm in no rush. He doesn't want to sit on the little potty anymore though, so we have one of those things that goes on the big toilet and he loves it.

Thats soo sweet! I hope my boys are like that

We actually just got a new toilet seat recently and it's got the built in kids lid. I love it for my toddler, it doesn't look like she might fall into the toilet anymore.. LOL

Awwwww. Our kids are just off like half a year   I'm trying to be like you and failing...

Mine did, but she is also 6 yrs older thenher sister. lol I hope they both help out with this one, since I start potty training at 1 years old, they are now 10 and 4, and lo will be 1 in Feb.

But she sounds so sweet. gotta love kids. lol
