If you are a binge eater or eat out of emotional distress or boredeom, see exactly what triggers it and try to fix it. I noticed I wanted to eat a lot of the times simply for the taste, not hunger. So I started findind zero/low calorie drinks and foods to help me with that.
Drink water, water, water!!!!
Stay away from processed foods as much as possible. Eat fresh!
Eat plenty of protein and fiber.
Try to replace certain foods with healthier options. Brown rice instead of white, fish instead of steak, you can even steam cauliflower and mash it into mashed potatoes to make them a little healthier. Also sweet potatoes are an excellent substitution!
Do research online for healthy, fresh meals.

See I've tried that but I've got tmj so bad gum chewing hurts my jaw. So I think I just need to draw or something get away from boredom.
