back on new years eve 2004 my mom asked me to stay home and spend new years with her. Me being a teenager I went out with my friends. She died later that year on my birthday. I still feel guilty to this day. The last few years my grandma and I have had a new years tradition. We have a few drinks and watch the twighlight zone marathon. She did this passed, July. I always see my grandpa on the holidays too. He lives with my father now so I cant see him. My dad is terribly cruel to me. Im just sad right now.

I'm so sorry. I know how you feel about it being a sad event. My cousin was murdered on New Year's Eve 2000. The last time I talked to him I was mean to him. I still feel lots of guilt every New Year.

I know I have my daughter but if it wasnt for my friends family spending xmas with my I would of been extra upset

Yes but nothing was done. My cousin died because he got involved in selling drugs and the police were more worried about getting information about the drug ring than solving his murder.

It was just a big mess. Know that even though you weren't nice to them that I am sure they knew that you still loved them. It was something I wrestled with for many years. I am so sorry for your losses. I just always think about it when I am dealing with someone that I don't want to end the moment being mad at them.

Hopefully one day it will come to light. Ive learned my lesson. If I really want a person to remain in my life I try to make up with them asap. I have my attitudes sometimes but the people I love I love no matter what.
