I can't say I know exactly how you feel but bd went to jail for 7 months because he got on heroin really bad, at first I cried a lot, but then I got used to life without him and I knew he was safe where he was at . but it sucked to celebrate holidays without him, but he's getting help, that's something to be happy about. I wish bd went to rehab instead of just jail when that happened.

Try to hang in there. The most important thing is his attempt was not successful and maybe he can finally get help to help him through whatever caused him to attempt it. Feel free to pm me if you want to talk. As others stated try not to be alone. I believe you will feel better along with your child if you have company.
