It will be okay, hon. He is getting the help he needs. You are blessed with your LO to love and cherish as you ring in the new year. Just think of the new year as a new beginning for you and SO. A fresh start. I'm so sorry that happened but I am confident you will push through it.
Been there mama. Just remember, he needs the help. Its not him, its a mental condition that needs to be dealt with. Just tell your child that daddy had to go to the doctor for a while.
