Has anyone had a leep procedure and gotten pregnant

posted 30th Dec
Ok so I am 40wks and I have been in labor for almost two weeks. Contractions have been 4 min apart lasting 45sec to 1 min long. But I'm not dialating I was wondering if any other ladies have had this problem after having a leep procedure and what the outcome was..

This account hasn't been updated lol sorry I was asking if anyone has had the leep before getting pregnant and had issues with dialating. I'm 40 weeks tomorrow and have been in labor for almost 2 weeks

I had a leep done at 17 and had my first child at 20. I had him vaginally with no issues dilating. Hope this helps!!

I think she means "has anyone had the leep done and then been/gotten pregnant." I have had the leep done,I had a 1/4 of an inch of my cervix removed, I was 18 at the time and my son was 6 months. I went on to have 3 more beautiful children but labor was never the same after the procedure.

This is my third pregnancy but first since the procedure I had it done in 2010. I was looking up online that after the procedure some woman had problems dialating because of scar tissue. That they had the contractions & everything but because of the scaring they physically couldn't progress :/ I don't want a c cection but I don't see how to get it going

I had a cone biopsy to remove 3/4's of my cervix in June of 2009 and had my 4th baby in April of 2012. I had issues with dilating. I was contracting very severely at 36 weeks. I went in to L&D nurse was certain I was not in labor but my baby's heart rate kept dropping. and would not rise like it should. Dr. came in to see me and said we have to do something, the baby is in distress... so he checked me, and said "you are in labor & ahh yes, you had the cone biopsy" (He was the Dr. who performed the procedure.) he popped my scar tissue and I went from 1cm to 4 in a matter of 2 minutes! He basically inserted his fingers and stretched the opening of my cervix to break the scar tissue. Good luck!
