Hyland's cough syrup

I went to the store to get DD (9 months) some baby vicks because she has a gross cough but couldn't find it. I did find Hyland's cough syrup with dosage info as young as 6 months



I purchased it because it doesn't expire for at least a year but I was just wondering if you've ever used it and has it worked? Is it safe for an infant..I thought cough syrup shouldn't be given under 2.

i was told no....

Homeopathic medicine has very different ingredients than other types of "regular medicine. Usually much high dosages too. Like I have some homeopathic pain killers and cough & cold tabs. You take 1 every 10 minutes for an hour and then one every hour after that until you feel better.

Awww I hope she gets better soon! My cousin's LO is in the hospital right now with RSV as well

Yeah the dosage is 2.5 mL every 6 hours. I always hear about the Hyland's teething tablets on here so I didn't know if anyone's used the cough syrup lol

I cought it early enough but the dr told me stop her breathing treatments and she was weezing so bad this morning when i took her in the dr just looked at her and knew she was weezing he was like theres no need to lissin to her but she does have an ear infection as well.

DD always acts fussy and plays with her ear so I take her in thinking she has an infection and she's perfectly fine :/ I'm afraid one of these times she will actually have one and I won't know because shes always playing with her ear.

well i got no sleep and she had been screaming 4 3 hrs so i knew something was up
