When did your LO start walking

That is without holding unto stuff. How old were they when they took their first steps and finally walked by themselves? What did you do to help them without forcing them? Do you think its true cold weather stops them from progressing?? a couple of people have told me that.

She was 13 months old. She took her first steps at 11 months. I think she would have started sooner but we lived in a place that prevented her from roaming often.
The cold weather thing doesn't make sense. I don't believe it.

10 months. And it was cold for a couple months before he started walking so no, I don't think that's true.

9 1/2-10 months...she's 4 now though. Then she lost all her chunk. lol Asher is 3 months so we'll see when he starts.
Who knows about the cold weather thing. I don't see why that would keep them from walking..

DD walked at 10 months. I didn't do anything. I just let her do it at her own pace. no I dont' think cold weather does a thing. plenty of babies learn to walk in the winter

My first was like 10 months, she just took off, but she was pulling up and trying before that. It has been 4 years, by brain is fuzzy.
My second tried taking little steps at like 11 months, but then didn't do it again until like 13 month where he just starting to walk.

10 months full on walking by a year.
All depends on the baby! I don't think anything contributes to how early/late they walk other than their own natural development

My daughter was 9 months when she started walking on her own

My oldest took steps right before his 1st bday. And walked on his own about 2 weeks after. My second took steps Around 9 months and was walking by 10 months. Running shortly adter! My 3rd took steps around 13ish months but didn't walk until 15 months. And the baby took step around 12 months and walked a little adter 13 months. No pattern at all here. Lol

DS took his first steps on his first birthday.

My oldest took his first steps around 10 months and walked at 12.5 months on his own.
My youngest took first steps around 6.5 months and started walking full on by 8.5 months.
I hope this baby doesn't walk early.. It's a horrible nightmare. lol.

DD1 was 11 months with first steps, & walking fully by her b-day. DD2 is nowhere near walking yet, so only time will tell. My 10 month old nephew just started walkin like crazy on x-mas day, he had taken a couple steps at a time before that, but he's good now

14 months walking the majority of the time!

I have never heard that cold weather stops their progression of walking. lol. I don't think it's true but I'm not a scientist.
