teen pregnancy/parnting

I just want every one to know, Not all teen mothers are irresponcable(SP), selfish,stupid, and down right a waste of uterus. I don't think any teen or young adult should try to have a baby. They simply are not going to ready. Not as ready as they could be if they just wait. How ever, we are human too. And teens do have sex. Teens also get drunk and do drugs, wich make it hard to think clearly so they make bad chosies. Not neccisarly mistakes. Not all teens do party and end up pregnant. Not all teens that don't party are safe from make a bad chosie. I think that most teens, at least half, that get pregnant do a good job. They stay in school and get a job. They help support their child. Some teen mothers and fathers fully support their child, and themselfs. I think teen moms can do good and do . Just because some girls out their don't care about them selfs,their family, or even their children. Not all of use are like that. Thats all I wanted to say. For now.

I've seen some of my teen friends get pregnant and have it change their lives for the best. Then again I have also seen another teen friend of mine get pregnant and have it change their life for the worst.

Either way, it's the gift of life. Age doesn't always determine if you are going to be a good or bad mother. It IS better to wait until you've had your own life... partied, traveled, got a good job, steady income, saved up money... but then where's the fun in life? ;)

I am an oder preggo and I've never been a teen mom but I ahve to say well spoken. I have known some teen moms and like you say some do good and some do bad just as much as moms in their twenties and thirties. Dont think that I would ever say HORRAY to teen pregnancy but it happens. If anything I would say enjoy life first. I have two teenagers and I hope that they choose to be responsible in their choices and then I look back on myself and go OMG!!! But they have an advantage that I didnt have Me being a mom actually talk to them about everything and they 80% of the time come to me for advce cause they I wont lie to them. The other 20% they dont want to hear the truth, lol.
