this sucks

Im tired of not having friends, Like I have a perfectly good baby sitter for New years & I cant do anything because I dont have friends to do anything with... Yes im aware that its part of being a partent, But I see parents all the time that have a bestfriend to go out with every once in a while. & I cant find a damn mommy & me classs at all! Im getting so frusterated. ):

Too bad you didn't live closer. I will also be sitting at home  

I had moved out of state for a couple of years and had DS. Now that I'm back, all of my friends moved away or have family's/SO's and don't have time to hang out at all....


I wish I had friends sometimes too....

All my friends don't want to go out and I'm so bummed  
Hoping my fiance won't need to work so that we can at least get out of the house

Having no friends is definitely not part of being a parent. Whoever told you that is delusional.

I moved from so cal to nor cal three years ago & had LO out here in Nor cal 7 months ago. I never met anyone out here before i got pregnant so now that I have a baby, when I do try to meet people they look at me like i have no life & that im no fun just because I have a baby. Im like omg. I just want a mommy friend with the same interests. Not thoughs snobby my babys better then your baby chicks. Just a down to earth lets go to the park & kick it mamas. Is that soo hard too ask for!!! ):

I dont have friends either. They all pretty much dropped me when I got pregnant with DS. Sadly some of them even have kids, but they also have people who will watch their kids everynight so they can go out. I'm going with my DH, DS, Mom, Step-dad, Step-Sister and her family downtown to watch early fireworks at 9, then coming home putting my 18 month old to bed, and watching the ball drop on my couch with my DH. I always end up the DD anyways though, so it isnt a big change for me lol.

a lot of my friends dont have children so to make some mommy friends I started taking DD to little play groups our local library organizes and in a few weeks of regular visits I had coffee dates with other mamas

Damn thats pretty far. I swear, craigslist needs to have a personal add section for Mommy's wanting to meet other Mommy's. Ok, well maybe not craigslist... I can only imagine some of the calls you would get from there lol.

Hahaha There would be some weird calls im sure. haha & yeah Im gonna watch the ball drop & maybe have a relaxing beer after LO is sleeping or something. I havent thought about going to libraries. Maybe I will do that, LO is still really young for understanding a story though. Shes only 7 months.

I know how you feel there. I moved from Texas to California! When I was 4 months pregnant!! So I didnt get to meet anyone and everyone I did meet looked at me funny! So I'm sitting at home with my son and df on New Years
