Normal for a 7 1/2 month old

So I've been noticing that other babies LO's age are sitting up and doing other things. He can't quite sit up un assisted but does okay if he has his hands planted on the floor just right. His balance isn't the best and we practice every day with it. Here are some pictures of what he can do. Is it okay/normal? He has an appointment with his pedi on Wednesday, should this be a big concern?

And within 2-4 weeks he was sitting up alone and crawling

All babies go at their own pace   My youngest didn't sit up or hell, even roll over until 7 months   He started rolling over a little over 7 months, FINALLY! Then a few weeks later started sitting   He was just a really late bloomer   He did start walking at 11 months though.

He is just precious.  

I'd bring it up. But I wouldn't say it's a huge worry.

LO was rocking back and forth just before he started crawling.

It is perfectly normal!

He's been doing the rocking back and fourth thing for about a month. He just started balancing himself sitting up a few day's ago.
