Running while pregnant?

I haven't been to my OB yet, or I would have asked her already.

I run 2-3 miles daily. Is that safe to do while pregnant?

As long as you are used to running and it was a normal part of your routine.

My friend ran a marathon while pregnant!

If your body is use to it yeah you can. Just make sure to drink plenty of water and slow down if anything doesn't feel right.

my sister still ran up to week 34 of her pregnancy as she is a runner and it was her daily routine she was fine x

Like everyone else said, if you were running before getting pregnant, then it is absolutely safe! Just make sure that you aren't over-working yourself.
A general rule of thumb is if you can carry on a conversation while working out, then you are fine.

Yup! I power walk every day and I haven't slowed down (well...ok, I did for a few weeks when my morning sickness was really bad, but never stopped completely), I'm back at it. As long as your body is used to it and you aren't overworking yourself, then definitely continue the exercise, your body will thank you for it later!
