The blanket was heartbreaking for me because it meant having hope, and I don't have much. But I feel like .01% better knowing she has SOMETHING. Weird conundrum!

Hey girl im definitely a stalker have been since before you found out about this pregnancy. Ive had you in my prayers since day one. Keep having hope and feeling positive so that your happy emotions flow down to baby girl and reassure her that everythings fine  

I've been following your journey with this little one since you posted in the Line Spotters thread. I am so thankful that the two of you are doing relatively well. I have the highest hopes for this pregnancy and your family is most definitely in my constant prayers!

My CL was 4.5 CM at 17 weeks and I'm sure it's probably smaller by now at almost 21 weeks.
Can't they give you medication to stop contractions? I was given a script for something with DD. Terbutaline[sp?] or something with a name like that I think. Gave me horrible shakes but got the job done.
Hoping she stays in as long as possible.

Terb isn't used by my docs anymore because they feel the risk of neuro damage during development is too much. They use something else (I forgot the name), but it also has some risk with long term use, so they don't want to start it if I don't need it yet. 1-2 contractions a day is manageable with a strong cervix, which doc is hoping the stitch and meds will give me.

Didn't know that about the Terb, DD seems developmentally fine. How scary though.

I had 4 shots of terb with DS between 21-23 weeks and he's fine, but apparently the risks are much higher for long term use.

Oh that would explain it then. I had 3 shots around 26 weeks along with a shot to mature her lungs.

I'll be getting the steroid shots for her lungs too. Hoping in dont need them, but I know how important jus a few days development can be!
