Babies don't need juice. They shouldn't have it until at least 2yrs of age. & Then, start with a VERY diluted juice.

No need for juice, especially not at 6 months.
DD had extremely diluted pear juice around 1 and she got the smurfs.
She didn't get anymore till 2.

I started at 8 months with half water and half apple.

At 12 months, I gave him prune diluted to help with constipation from cow's milk.

unless their constipated then you really shouldnt. Way too much High fructose corn syrup and sugar. and it fills them up so they wont drink as much formula or breastmilk which has very important vitamins and nutrients in it that they need. Theres also arsenic in apple juice. Its a very low amount but I wouldnt want any amount of that in my daughter.

Everyone's opinion and idea is different, but I don't plan on giving my DD any juice until 1 year old. It's like soda, hard alcohol, and coffee with adults you are not recommended to have any of those as adults but people still drink them despite their contents aren't so great for you. BUT with a child there is a lot of natural sugar in juice even if it is 100%. Juice isn't awful for your LO, but don't make it a staple in their diet. Honestly if you are looking to let them have any only do it with half juice and half water in the cup.

I started at 3 -4 months with juice. 100% pure pastuerized juice. Not watered down at all.

They don't need to be watered down at all, if you choose to give juice. But its personal preference
