And people were saying abortion is comparable to the Connecticut elementary school shooting. A massacre that killed innocent children and adults who've impacted hundreds of people just by existing...is the same as a woman taking a pill and basically miscarrying or getting a procedure done that affects very few people.

It should be made into a "well, that escalated quickly" meme.

It's just so smurfing stupid, because most of those lifers are Pro gun, which killed those kids, and would never be happy with their taxes going to fund accessible mental health care that could have prevented sandy hook.

I am against abortion but I think that is effing stupid. You cannot compare the 2 at all.

A guy that I know told me that it was wrong for the president to lower the flags to half mast when it happened because its not lowered for the soldiers that die everyday defending our freedom. I quickly reminded him that soldiers are trained to defend themselves while these people were completely defenseless. I can't see how you can even compare the two.

My SIL was saying pretty much the exact same thing. But I hate her. So nothing she says surprises me.
