honestly, if you want to know the truth.... my experience was just very odd. i can't describe it any other way really. it was just the atmosphere and the things that happened were just...odd. there was another couple there and idk what the girl was there for, but the guy with her (i assume he was her bf...?) went into one of the bathrooms, and came out like 10 minutes later and was showing her a bunch of maxi pads he took, as though he had never seen one before in his life. then, when i went in to talk to the counselor, i was cracking up laughing and i was trying to apologize because i felt like a lunatic because shouldn't i be crying?? but the happenings in the waiting room were just so strange.... and then when i went back to get the medication so i wouldn't feel the pain, i was sitting in a recliner type chair with a few other girls and the doctor came over and was like, "ok, so who wants to get drunk?" we were kinda like, "huh?" and then when i was actually in the room having the procedure, he said something about "last time" or referenced a previous time of me having it done, and i was so confused and i was like, "uh... no, i have never don this before..." and he was like, "ohhh. ok..."so... idk if he just had an awkward sense of humor that i didn't understand or expect, but.... odd. very odd.

it totally does. i know it sounds so humorous and i don't want people to think i am joking because this is seriously what happened to me.... idk if i am thankful for the oddity of it all because maybe it helped me not to be so upset right away (i really didn't cry and get upset over it for at least a week or 2 after), or if i am pissed that they said that weird smurf to me at an awful time in my life....

if you go on my profile and search my started threads I posted my last story just over a month ago.

I've had two, and honestly- the clinic was nice. the staff were kind. the procedure was fine (I had surgical under general anaesthetic) recovery, physically, was fine.

to be honest, physically and practically, its okay. however, emotionally its really really tough - well, it is if its not what you wanted but rather somethin you HAD to do :'( really difficult it messed me up a lot because I had to do it I really didn't want to :'(
