post partum body

posted 29th Dec
I just had my second baby 2 weeks ago and with this one came stretch marks on my stomach which I didn't get with my first and the weight isn't coming off as easily(with first I was already at pre-pregnancy weight by now). Does anyone have any advice on how to get rid of stretch marks and shrink stomach? And is it normal to get down about it??

Can't get rid of stretch marks. They fade over time. Drink lots of water. Eat balanced meals. Breast feeding. Those help lose weight.

My daughter was 6 lbs when she was born. I lost only 4 after her delivery. I gained a total of 47 lbs during my pregnancy. I did this stuff. And lost my weight by 9 weeks post partum.

the stretch marks will just fade over time.
the only thing that i can say for your stomach is work out when given the ok by your doctor!

It is very normal to get down about your body after a baby (or so i think)

Give your body time to heal and get back to normal. It took a good 5-6 months for mine to go back to normal with my second. My first i snapped right back. But your stretch marks will fade and shrink in time. My daughter is 7 months old and mine are shrinking and a lot lighter than before. Drink plenty of water, eat healthy and exercise once given the okay to do so by your obgyn. Also breast feeding helps sooooo much. You can put lotion on your stretch marks, or bio oil stuff. They make special creams for stretch marks too. I wore a belly bandit for 6 weeks, that helped very much.
