Heard an amazing name lately?
Having trouble naming the new bubs?
Let's keep this thread strictly name chatter please.
Couple of questions to get this thing going...
What are your current favorite names?
Do you find yourself sticking with a certain style of name?
Boys or girls; which are easier to name?

I like classic names. Right now I'm liking Elizabeth, Lucy/Lucia and Annabeth.
They're not all necessarily classic, but it's what I like today.
I find it easier to name girls, probably because i have all girls. So when I sit around and think baby names, it usually meanders to the girl side.

Current favorite names are Silas, Rowan, Stormy, Sage, and Aurora.
I'm obsessed with nature-themed names, and my only child is named River. I want to continue the theme but I don't want it to be super obvious. I once had a dream that my son and I were taking a hike, and he introduced me to his little brother, Skye. I don't think I could handle the matchy-ness of that, but still a nice dream. Anyone else have a nature-named child? Or a nice name?
ETA: I think boys are easier to name than girls. But generally speaking, when I'm pregnant I feel like there will never be a name perfect enough for my baby.

Current favorites:
Harvey
Canaan
Oscar
Ophelia (nn Lia)
Charlotte (nn Lottie)
I love old names I guess. I really hate modern and unisex names. I only have ever named a boy so I don't know which is easier.

I used to love it too. Then the Disney Channel came out with this movie Sofia The First and they've played it 50k times, so my kids have made me sick of hearing it lol

I had a huge list of girls names, and basically no list of boy names. I basically thought, "Oh, what if it's a boy? Well, Owen is nice I guess. We'll go with Owen."

What are your current favorite names? Of course my kids names, I also like the name Abigail for a girl and Jocelyn for a girl.
Do you find yourself sticking with a certain style of name? Not really.
Boys or girls; which are easier to name? Girls, for sure.

Newest crush - Elbereth, it's from LOTR.
Boys are way easier to name than girls, IMO. It feels like it's more "ok" for a boy to have a common, classic name that he shares with other kids than it is for a girl....weird double standard, just something I've noticed.
Right now, I am loving
Cordelia
Elbereth
Beatrix
Calliope
Madelief
Tullia
Felix
Rupert
Leopold
Theodore
