Put some clothes on that kid
posted 29th Dec
Im so sick of being told to put clothes on ds. He's not even a year old! If I'm not going out I'm not putting clothes on him. Why would I unless its to create more laundry? He isn't more comfortable in them! I live in southern California! It's not exactly freezing here nd if it is cold he's just staying in his pjs. I just dont see why I need to put clothes on him to stay home. People back home comment on my fb photos like "do you on clothes for that kid " or my dad gets on Skype and comments. I told him if he wants to do laundry then he can dress him all he wants when we move down there..... End vent. Sorry I just figure I can't be alone in this right.

uhhh no my kid always wears clothes.

Not a big deal either way I think. Sometimes LO just wears a onesie. Sometimes I change her outfit a bunch of times a day. But the laundry isn't hardly even anything to blink at, they're teeny tiny articles of clothing.

My kids are always dressed (or at least having a jammie day). I can't stand when kids aren't dressed -happens a lot here in AZ in the summer. Still drives me crazy to see infants and toddlers in car seats/running around the stores in just a diaper.
Even at home, my kids are always dressed in something. I will not take a picture of them if they arent.

If the house is warm enough, I'll let DD hang out in just a diaper. No big deal. If she has a diaper rash she gets full on nakie.

I understand having lazy days where you hang out in your pjs, but my kids always had more clothes days than PJ days.

my kid always wears clothes... so you do "more laundry" --- baby clothes arent exactly going to fill your washer -- stop being so lazy

In his diaper.

We don't get dressed unless we go out either. He refuses to leave them on and sweats so bad. Sometimes I can get him to keep shirts on but pants, shoes, socks? Never.

Well I let my kid hang out a lot in his diaper. But he's cloth diapered, likes to eat and it's cute. Usually it's when he's eating that he's in a diaper.
When we leave the house, he's fully dressed proper, and at home he at least has a shirt on or pjs.

I always have clothes on Asher, whether it be pjs or an outfit. I personally hate seeing babies out in public with just a diaper on. I think it looks crappy. That's just my opinion. I'm not saying you're a crappy mother!! lol It takes a minute to dress your child, I don't go out in public in my draws.
ETA!!! JUST REREAD! I misread the post.

Oh I don't take him out naked. I'm just talking about in the house.

I don't let my kid run in just dipes (undies now) much (and I live in so Cal).
On the rare occasion I let him go in underoos, I definitely don't post pics of it and let them get all judgy.

My kids wear clothes, all the time. The older boys like to take off their shirts though but that's on them, twits not like I'm too lazy to dress them.
