Quoting baby mama bunny:" my daughters 3. She wakes up around 7-830 and Ive been putting her to bed by 9ish.She doesnt nap at all ... [snip!] ... room. Its been getting better and better and the crying less and less. Like last night was about 20 min and tonight was like 5"

yeah I really don't think being in the room would help AT ALL. Though I've definitely tried that because of course mine has gone through bad sleep troubles as well. She's not a good napper either. I'm sorry...I know how tiring that can be for you!!!
I say keep leaving her in there, it will get better very soon if you just stay consistent with making your point about when she should go to sleep.

24 hours is a long time...especially for a toddler

who the smurf cares what you "consider" it ---- its called bedtime... if it works for you guys, great... if not, try something else.

she had colic when she was a baby. Im not even complaining about the last few night because they went well. I wont ever leave her cry for hours. Sometimes she'll bang on her door and say "mommy I want fee vee (tv) mommy" thats when I usually ignore her.

no, I was just wondering if it was still considered CIO. I figured for it to be CIO it had to be for a certain length of time because all kids cry.
