Charlotte has been asking about going to school, but still hasn't potty trained. I want to start doing more school-type activities with her starting in January, so hopefully she'll be ready for actual preschool once she's pt'd.

Do you do preschool at home? What sorts of activities do you use? Do you have any links/pinboards etc? Thanks

I bought my LO workbooks from Costco. Before she started preschool we did it at home Monday through Friday. We would do a few workbook pages and practiced basics like knowing and recognizing letters and numbers. Writing her name and birthdate. I also took her to the library everyday to encourage reading.

M goes to public preschool and there is one girl in her class wears a diaper for poop, and did halfway through the school year. Does she refuse to use the potty at all?

Best way to teach is by play at this age. Don't waste your money on work books or flash cards. I taught my daughter letter sounds and recognition by drawing the letter and singing a silly song about it. I made my own cards and she loved it.

she realizes when she had to go, but just won't and also won't let us know. If we know she has to poop, she'll go on the potty, but otherwise won't. I'm hoping she'll want to soon, but I'm not pushing it.

Awe cute! We used " the m says mmmmm the m says mmmm every letter makes a sound the m says mmmmmm"

she is stubborn! I'm in for it when she becomes a teenager.

Im going to enroll my DD in an online school for preschool next fall. She will also be going to a preschool 2 times a week.
During this school year we have been doing preschool workbooks and alot of activities from my DS kindergarten ( he's enrolled in virtual school).
The school we are going to use is Calvert school.
