Wrap
posted 29th Dec
So I bought a Mei tei wrap for $25 off of a friend since you can use them from 5-100lbs there site says. My daughter is a preemie born at 35weeks and is almost 6 pounds now, she will be 3 weeks old Wednesday.
Anyone use one? What did you think? It looks complicated lol

I'm no help. I clicked on this link with honey mustard crispy chicken wraps in mind.

I've never used a Mei Tei, but I've used my SIL's Moby and loved it. I would buy one if we didn't already have an Ergo (which we also love). After she showed me how to use it, it wasn't complicated at all!
If you are confused, there are some great tutorial videos on Youtube.

I would recommend a moby. or a woven wrap, or ring sling.
The mei tei great but does not support the back the way a wrap or sling would. Sometimes the manufacturer suggestion does not keep in tune with what is best for baby. a Mei tei Is best to use once back and neck support has become stronger... around 4 months (I am Not sure what that would be for preemies). There are people who use them as early as 5 to 6 pounds- But with anything when you know better y- ou do better- And they are definitely better options for baby that size.
