please help!!! freaking out

I went to my doctor and I've gained 40 pounds in two months!!! Holy here!!!! Im totally depressed now. I watch what I eat and with three kids I never atop moving. I am breastfeeding too. Im not on birth control as I had my tubes tied. I've also been randomly bruising! My doctor ran a bunch if bloodwork. Wtf. I can't believe this! Im such a cow and o don't know why. He ran a metabolic panel, lipid panel, PT test, cbc and all that. He said my thyroid glands are enlarged and my tonsils we're swollen. He also xrayed my hip finally since I've had issues with it and my pelvis for awhile. He thinks I need surgery fir it. Any one know what could be going on?! Idk what all this means.

My aunt has thyroid issues and she's had a surgery on them because they weren't working propperly and after That she lost like over 60lbs and is much happier now. No more issues

Try to breath! It sound like they're not sure what's going on yet, so running a bunch of test to rule things out. If your thyroid is abnormal, it can greatly affect your weight, even in a short period of time- often it's easily treated though. Did they let you know when to expect test results or a call back?

It sounds like your thyroid isnt working the way it should. That could cause you to gain a ton of weight or lose a ton of weight...depending on if its over active or under active. Medicine would help control that. I hope its nothing more serious than that.

My problem was my under active Thyroid but I have been on meds for 2 months and I am still really tired and fat lol. Hope it's something easy to fix and doesn't need surgery because with 3 kids, there is no way you can relax and heal. I mean that you can't heal while up and about running around taking care of the kids. Good Luck

I lost 30 lbs while pregnant this time. Now im up 40. I was supposed to have test results yesterday but no call. Calling Wednesday since they aren't open Monday or Tuesday.
