re: how many?

I'm OK with just one, but my husband wants at least 4. If he had it his way, we'd have 12. Though I'm happy with one, we're now expecting # 2.

I only wanted two but i told hubby i would consider three if our first two were the same sex. And since theyre both girls (as far as we know for #2) i will consider it but im not sold yet. (I realize the third could be another girl which is why im not sold). No names picked out, we only just decided on this littls girls name at 34 weeks. Mine will be almost 5 years apart and if we decide on another id prefer at least 3 years apart.

My family is complete with two (one boy , one girl). I sometimes get baby fever but then logic kicks in and baby fever goes away.

ETA: DS and DD are 2 years and 10 months apart. I love it....most days.

Smurf! Tell him to grow his own uterus and start poppin' 'em out then. That's crazy. I don't know any men who want a lot of kids. All the ones around here seem to think the less, the better. I lucked out; my husband is also more than okay with just our son, so no pressure on me to get knocked up again (not that I would).

I want 2 or 3, haven't really decided yet but no more than 3 and that's only if we can afford more in the future. SO and I want to wait 4-5 years to have another one. Zoë Noelle or Sebastian Michael.

Lol, trust me, if he could, he definitely would  He just really loves kids, and he is a really great father  Having a lot of kids is wishful thinking though. He only has 1 brother/sibling, and always wished he had more. I hope I didn't give the impression that he's pressuring me into having more kids... He's not. It's just something we always joke about when it comes to the # of kids. He's incredibly respectful and wouldn't ever pressure or guilt me into having more. He's a juvenile probation officer and runs a probation school. The kids have been more challenging than usual this year, so I think they are starting to make him think twice about more than 2-4 kids, lol

Oh, no, I didn't get that impression. It's just always strange to me when men reeeeally want a bunch of kids, but don't stop to consider what that entails. They don't magically appear, and all the men do initially is share their semen, then have a 9 month break before they gotta start pitchin' in. It's just a lot to take on, multiple pregnancies.

Yeah, my first pregnancy was not easy, and really made me question whether or not having more is a good idea. I don't think I'd ever go beyond 3. But I'll have to see how this pregnancy goes. He'll respect what I decide because he knows how hard it was in my last trimester. I don't mind being pregnant, but it's certainly not easy I've discovered. I seemed to have forgotten the not-so-fun parts of pregnancy... Until this pregnancy. Must be mother nature's way of ensuring reproduction, lol.
