breastfed baby questions

how often do breastfed babies typically poop? I feel like my LO poops ALOT.

so breastfed babies not burp? My LO hasn't burped at all and she's a week old tomorrow

Yes they burp. My LO pooped like 10 times a day for the first month/

Some BF babies poop every time they eat, some can go a couple days without.

My daughter hardly ever burps if I BF her, she never really needs to. Sometimes I'll get a little one. But she only really needs it if she has a bottle, then she belches, lol.

My son is a week and 1 day old and he poops alot and he burps you may need to pat on his or her back alittle more to get them to burp.

For the first few weeks it seems like DS was taking it in one side and letting it out the other LOL
But now he only goes once a day maybe. My doctor says its all normal.

My son poops every time he feeds lol! Literally EVERY SINGLE TIME. But I don't feed as often, I only feed every 3-4 hours (the only time he's hungry). It's normal for them to poop a lot, and even not poop at all for a few days. A lot different than formula fed babies!

I read somewhere that the first 6 weeks there is something in the breast milk that acts like a laxative, so they go every time they nurse. After that they need to poop on their own and can go days without pooping. My guy poops 2 times a day but sometimes skips a day (10 wks) but a friend of mine has a 4mo who goes once a week oO.
