New bra size?

posted 29th Dec
What does it mean when your bra is to loose in the straps on your shoulders?
The bra I'm wearing is as tight as it will go in the straps but is so loose that my boobs pretty much hang there now
But if I pull the bra up to where it should be my boobs still fit just fine in the cups.
So, do I need to go down a bra size? Or what do I need to do?
I don't know how this weight is coming off but I like it

Have someone measure you and go get a new bra (or more)

How old is your bra? The straps may have just loosened over time if its an older bra

Mine did the same thing, I just bought a new one same size just made from a diff material and it's worked just fine.. I think some of them stretch or something in the washer and just never fit right.

It's only a few months old and it's a VS bra so it should have lasted longer than that.

When I lose weight, it's always from the shoulders first. It's really annoying because they aren't even fatty. I've got bony shoulders and fat everywhere else

I guess that makes since   I HAVE noticed my collar bone sticking out more and more.

Hmm, I would go get measured and see if you're the same size. But yeah I agree with what other ladies said, sounds like the straps got stretched out.

I had one of the VS bras that had the self adjusting straps and it was incredibly comfortable, but the straps stretched really quickly, within 3 - 4 months.

How do you wash your bras? I have learned that I get much more wear out of mine if I hand wash and then hang dry. I only have 2 bras right now because I have to buy extended sizes and they are hard to some by. Every other day, I have to take them in the bathtub, spend 10 minutes washing them and hang them up. I really need a few more......

If you think the bra is not stretched out, I would consider going down a bra size or seeing if there is a product that can help tighten the straps?

I've never had a vs bra last longer than 6 months (tops) in the straps. If you have anyone local that can resize the straps for cheap you should look into it. The place I get fitted at offers to take bras in once they've stretched out for $10

Oh that smurf pissed me off!   That's why I finally broke down and got nursing bras. But this was my first real bra in 3 years and my boobies looked SO good in it until the straps started getting loose again

I'm just glad they are getting smaller as I loose this damn weight. I went from an E to a DD (I think) So now I can go buy cheaper bras when I need them. And I can finally get cute ones too!!!
