should we stay or should we go...? sick babe=[

2 and a half year old is sick=[ started Christmas Eve night with a little cough and runny nose, Christmas Day still continued cough and runny nose, add in very sleepy and clingy and later in te day started to get fever. the 26th everything was still the same (and I got it-except i haf extreme soreneds through iut my whole body, it gurt just to bend my fingers. but hes still doesnt talk enough to tell me if his was like that too =[ ) and we pretty much slept all day minus like 5 hours. the 37th seemed to be a bit better. no fever, able to stay awake a bit more but still cough and runny nose. 28th( yesterday) him and I were hit again, all symptoms came back-he added diarrhea tho, but there were still some points of the day where he would bounce back and be pretty playful. and here we are today...fever, cough a lot, runny nose, diarrhea (except so bad I thought he was just peeing, it's literally almost clear liquid at this point) and sleeping so much. he woke up at about 11 this mining after waking a ton to cough and such but then he was back to sleep with in like a half hour. I woke him it about 230 ish and he's back to sleeping about 20 minutes ago. at 1 point he did tug in his ear a bit saying ow but idk if it eat infection ow or maybe he just had a headache. he's never had an ear infection so I really don't know much about them.

I've been giving Advil/Tylenol for fevers and a cold medicine for his cough and runny nose. but just doesn't seem to be getting better. we are in Canada but he doesn't have any coverage here so if have to drive back to ny to take him to the emergency room (which isn't a big deal, maybe 30-40 minutes) but I don't wna drag him out and take him if al they are going to do is still an iv in him and keep bothering him every couple hours and make him sleep in a bed where I can't hold him when he wants.

what would you do, stick it out unless it worsens or go in?

ohh and his father has the same thing as he does since Christmas Eve also.

If the diarrhea continues or he stops accepting fluids id take him in. At that age they worry about dehydration. Push fluids big time.

ohh I have been, we've been going through juice and water like crazy this week between us all!
