I have fibromyalgia... and it is NOTHING close to that. They are full of smurf.
I can barely move most days.

What your sister has is WORKING OUT and then being sore the next day because she puts so much strain on her body because she 500 smurfing pounds.

Quoting kthx.:" I think a lot of adults/children are being diagnosed with conditions or illnesses now. Wayyyy more than ... [snip!] ... others (which is totally fine, at least to me)... autism is the instant diagnoses. I really hate it. Doctors blanket SO much."

I see this and it makes me so upset.

I see a lot of parents who DEMAND for the Dr to diagnose their kid with SOMETHING.

Just like with ADHD when I was younger. Seemed like any kid who was hyper was just said to have it and then medicated.

Both are VERY real disorders, but I doubt as many people have them as have been diagnosed with them.

No I understand that. My brother and cousin supposedly have it when their childhoods were spent being spoiled and playing video games and having minimal interaction. Not autism just no interaction causes these things and this diagnosis is of course increasing because of the larger number of kids who do nothing but watch tv and play video games all day.

wow...you're an ignorant judgemental bitch.

MANY medical conditions are exacerbated by overexertion AND/OR being overtired. I have a good friend with MS. if she works out too hard, or gets over tired...she has problems so bad she can hardly walk. Another friend had Guillan Barre after her last baby....ended up on a smurfing VENT, paralyzed... and had to relearn how to walk etc.... guess what? when she works out too much.... she gets numb and pain again...

yet...they both know it's important to work out... and still try their best to live healthy lifestyles.

No it's not me making it hard then. It is the doctors that are overdiagnosing this smurf if it is real. They are gonna tell you that you have it because you are sore which is bull smurf. And no my mom has been plus size since she was a kid and the second I got a drivers license she sat down in her bed and never got back out, gained all the weight and is now this. My sister. I have lived with her my whole life, she is lazy, end of story.

it's not your job to decide if she really has it. Maybe she doesn't.. but maybe she's in too much pain to work out?

YES. YES. YES. Thank you for understanding

ADHD is the same way. Like.... a kid can't just be hyper now. It HAS to be an attention disorder, and they HAVE to be put on medication to turn them into zombies. Smurf is ridiculous. My sister was diagnosed with ADHD when she was younger and was put on Concerta (I think that's what it is). She got so skinny from loss of appetite, and would just sit on the couch with a blank stare on her face... like all day. My dad stopped giving them to her, and yes she was hyper and struggled to focus in school... but she's now 19 and in college. She's fine... a lot of kids are fine. And I hate that parents are so quick to need a diagnosis and medication for their children, who may not even have the disorder

In order to be properly diagnosed it takes more than an hour lol. they have to first weed out numerous other things, one being lupus, which takes a blood test. so if your doc only does a one hour fibro test i would suggest another doc.

My mother doesn't work out. My sister doesn't work out that much. She does it when she feels like it and her work out is going to the store for an hour (which is what i was thinking of because that is the only exercise she gets) not to mention her diet consists of mac and cheese and spaghetti.

They wanted me to medicate Gavin and I told them no. He takes medication for his seizures and to help his liver and that's it. He may be difficult to deal with some days, but medication isn't the answer.

Dude according to her she has scoliosis as well yet she has been to multiple doctors and they have done multiple xrays and MRIs and she doesn't yet she still tells everyone she has it.. She isn't in too much pain to work out. Smurf if she is in too much pain to do chores but not too much to go party with her friends there is something up there.

Then i see why you dont believe her. but if i were you i would not doubt the fact that fibro is a real condition and is painful, that is kind of rude.

I got another doc because it annoyed me that they would even suggest I have this and then try to put me on these massive pills for it. I don't need an addiction. My sister and mom just took it. They were like oh I have it and they took it and ran with it. Every since then it isn't push through it, it is I can't do it because I have fibro. My sister used to have no problem going out because she was sore from doing stupid smurf but every since then she uses that as an excuse not to do it.
