Sleeping in a crib
posted 29th Dec
Well, I will start with a little back story I guess.
Me and my boyfriend have a beautiful daughter named Sabrina, she is 7 months old now. We live in a tiny little 1 bedroom home and at first didnt want to have her crib in our room till we figured out furniture situations. She slept in a bassinet next to our bed and now she is inching closer and closer to the weight limit. We put up her lime green crib last month and are desperately trying to get her to nap in it before we do an over night. She sleeps through the night 8-9 hours and gets up once to either have her pacifier put back in her mouth or she will let out a cry and go back to bed. I have tried putting my warm shirt under her and laying her on top, that works for 15 minutes then she gets up and cries, we have tried playing music (we play some at night as part of our routine) tried putting my pillowcase with her. I am so frustrated, she has been a very easy baby surprisingly and this is our only problem. So, if you have any tips that would help I would so appreciate it
She does sleep with a fuzzy blankie, she is pro at moving it from her face. Right now she is sleeping in the crib for a nap, lets see how long that lasts

Sleeping in something lime green is a difficult task, especially during the day.
She'll get used to it.
And babies shouldn't be sleeping in bassinets at all once they can roll over. They're just not stable enough.

Well, the crib is a really pretty color and we dont let the sun shine on it to where it could hurt her eyes. The type of bassinet is fine to sleep in for a baby up to 25 lbs(She is 19 lbs) because it prevents rolling over for the most part, she is a side sleeper and thats whats she does in it. She has taken 2 naps in it today and all we've done is make sure she is ok and safe, and we leave her there to cry herself to sleep (takes less than 5 minutes)
