I voted clothes because $60 won't get you far with a tattoo unless you actually have something in mind that you really want and is super tiny. Don't get a random tat just because you have the money

lol not really, it goes by size, not quality. An amazing tattoo artist can do tattoos that are like 20 bucks, if its small and that. Like my mom got 4 grandkids on her ankle as stick ppl its really cut, with the kids names under and it was like 45 bucks. lol

Small tattoos are useless anyway as they fade and distort to essentially an unidentifiable blob in a few years.

This is the first time I have had money to spend on ME in years. Last birthday I got $200 and SO took it from me and put it in savings. Even though he spends $50+ a week on himself.

That's not entirely true. The artist SO and I go to charges $125 an hour, and is published. SO has won awards at conventions because of this guys work. But, this tattoo was done in about 20 minutes and only cost him like $30.

No, I totally believe there are artists out there capable of awesome work for cheap (i.e. Your example). It's just not come across often, like you don't hear about someone getting an awesome tattoo for 50$ every day, lol.

It's definitely hard to get a nice tattoo for $50-60 bucks. At least one that is of decent size, and will show enough detail. Smurf, I have both of my wrists tattooed... each wrist with two measly words on them, took about 25 minutes, and it cost me $90 for that. Lol.

Ya you do...here anyways you do. With tattoo artist that are well known. lol I never met anyone who went to a smurf artist and got crappy work. The guy I go to and everyone I know as so many awards under his belt ist crazy. lol

And he even did a 10 tattoo for me to add my middle dd's birth sign onto the tat that I had with my oldest. I would never go somewhere I dont know the work. or the artist they have working there. lol

The one on my forearm cost me 150$ and is leaps and bounds better than the ones on my chest that only cost 60$, lol.

I got from the bottom of my back to the middle of my spine with a flower and a butterfly and its big and really well done, and it was 75$ lol
