BEST BUY question

My 2nd kindle has stopped working. Both I only had for a month, if that. It's been sitting in my closet for over a month because I cannot find the box it came in. I have a 2 year warranty and the receipt. Are they going to say smurf you if I can't find the box??

you should contact amazon. I just did about my kindle fire and they are sending me a new one.

Even if I bought it at best buy?
What happened to your kindle?

Call best buy and tell them and see what they say.

it wasn't charging or holding a charge.
Since your warranty is THROUGH amazon they are the ones to do the replacing. Same thing if you bought an apple product through best buy, you have to go through apple.

I got my Kindle Keyboard (3G e-ink version) as a gift, and bought a Fire at Staples because the screen shattered. Turns out that my Keyboard was under the year manufacturer warranty, and all I had to do was verify a credit card (a whole $1), and they sent me a new one - I just had to send back the old one to avoid getting charged. Go to the live chat option on amazon.com (click on manage your kindle, the link will be orange and toward the bottom of the page) and they will be able to talk you through it

is it an original kindle?

hold down the power button for 30 seconds.. then turn back on.
