shes going to drive me COOKOO!

DD is 5 months and recently discovered that while laying on her back she can plant her feet and lift her bum... well...now she does it when im trying to feed her, put her in her carseat, highchair or swing... its becoming a little scary... i have to rush to buckle her in for fear shes going to throw herself out the moment i put her in. but feedings are a nightmare! i usually feed her in her boppy still. but she plans her feet, lifts her bum or just kicks the crap out of me. i tried feeding her in her highschair and she gets too distracted, holding her and she wiggles everywhere. anyone else notice a huge change at this age for being distracted with feedings? or their baby lighting their bum a lot? dd loves it... its driving me insane lol

i do buckle her in, as soon as i put her down in the swing, carseat, highchair ext... i dont know about you but i dont have 4 arms, i have to set her down then buckle her in. She starts to kick or lift as soon as i set her down.

Haha, I think it's so funny when LO does that. When I put him in his car seat I have to give him a toy or something to keep him distracted. He wriggles around in his high chair until he get's his food then he's all about eating lol.

Jumping up and down in her seat is pretty normal.

Make feeding times fun for her. Sing songs, play airplanes with the spoon. I sing songs to get my boys into the pram without a struggle.
