Going to lose this weight!

Today my changes start. I have got rid of 90% of our Christmas candy, I'm cleaning out the cabinets of anything bad, and am going to start tracking my calories again. I have been fighting for the past year to get these last 10 lbs off and as soon as I lose a few, I find an excuse to go back to my old ways and settle back into unhealthy habits. I've set an event on my phone for twice EVERY day that reminds me why I'm doing this and what daily steps need to be taken. It's now or never, and I'm not okay with being unhealthy anymore. Anyone else with me? I'll probably post pics and measurements later once I'm actually at my computer. We can do this!

Ugh, I need to do the same. I was doing pretty well with weight loss. I lost 45 lbs after having my daughter and was 17lbs away from my goal. I've totally fallen off the wagon (thankfully, I've only gained 3 lbs) and I feel like a giant blob. I need to gt rid of Christmas candy, cut soda for good, and get my lazy ass off the couch!

Me too! I was in awesome shape this past May or so, and after I went to the beach I just lost all motivation I've been going down hill since. I need to change for good, not just for a beach trip!

It sucks when the motivation is gone. It's really hard to get habits to stick. We started 2012 well. i went a whole month with no soda (followed by two more months where I just drank it once or twice). i have always been a soda addict and it is my major vice. DH and I also did Tony Horton's 10 Min Trainer and had pretty good results. Then we'd lose motivation for a while. I started running over the summer and felt awesome. Since November, I've pretty much failed.

I have been tracking my calories for two weeks to see where my problem areas are, started turbofire today and I'm so excited. I hurt everywhere, but it's a good kind of hurt.
