no... not in the end. at the end of a hospitalization... we tell patient's what all they can and should take.. and it's usually a lot.

but seriously... the other lady... taking everything everytime it went into the room... so that they had to restock? hospital supplies are there to use in the hospital.

haha, ok.

They told us the same...BUT, I only took what was left over on the last day as we were packing to leave.

I don't think you should clean out the cart EVERYTIME the baby leaves the room, just so they'll give you more...that just seems greedy & cheap.

Oh ok. Yeah that makes sense. We didn't take anything until the end when she told us that.

yup

and 10 years from now when moms have to bring everything they need to the hospital because they no longer provide supplies.... it'll be that same woman complaining to her friends about how when she had her kids... hospitals provided it.

yes, greedy and cheap to take diapers and wipes the 4 times she went to the nursery, considering they were for. It was billed and paid. The nurses told as to take them because our insurance would be billed for nursery charges and restocking charges.

You're taking more than what is needed, regardless of who is paying for it...that is the exact definition of greed.

I was wondering this before, but I already have my hospital bag packed for baby. And all I'm bringing is a long sleeve and short sleeve onesie, and an outfit. I have one of those jumper jackets since she will be born in winter. And a blanket. I don't think I'll need anything else really. Especially since when I leave the hospital we are just going from hospital to home.

I wouldn't even bring a blanket really. I've never seen anyone leave the hosptial without a smurf ton of blankets... visitors will bring plenty as gifts!

The only blanket I'm bring is a fleece one to cover the infant seat as I'm leaving the hospital. I was going to buy one of those jumpers that cover it, but those are expensive!
