Have you tried to use over the counter yeast infection meds?

What does it smell like? Yeasty? ( Like dough) or fishy?

If it's a yeast infection try vagisil (sp?) and get the sanitary wipes (for down there) and use those after you go to the bathroom instead of toilet paper. Also, have you switched body wash at all? try using the feminine body wash made by Eve I think it is.

Well I mean, of course yeast infections have a smell. Mine always did, it was literally like dough smell. Depends on how bad it gets.

I haven't tried any yet. But it's more of a doughy smell. It's not like rotten or anything, just weird.

I did switch body wash recently, but I don't have sensitive skin or anything. I switch brands every time I buy new wash. But I will try the OTC stuff and see what happens I guess. I just want to claw my vagina off, it's horrible.

I've had many yeast infections, but this sounds more like an STD to me.
You could try OTC meds for that and see if it helps by Monday.
but seeing as you said it's on/off it's probably something else.
If it gets worse, just go to the ER. could be something even more serious than an infection/STD.

I would be so embarrassed to go to the ER for an itchy vag.  

But I recently had a chemical pregnancy and was at the ER. They did a pap and everything and never mentioned anything wrong down there. I did have a pretty bad UTI, but that's all they said.

Wouldn't it show an STD or yeast infection though?

And STD would have shown up. But a yeast infection can literally happen over night. You may have NOT had one when they did the pap, and now you do.

Only if they tested you for one.
I had a pap done a few weeks ago and they never checked for anything else.
I knew I had a yeast infection at the time but I figured they'd check for that as well.. and they didn't until I brought it up.

But this was going on before I was in the ER. It just seems to be bothering more now than before. It's almost like it's triggered with sex. I won't have sex for like 4-5 days and be fine, but when I do, the next day is horrible.

Could SO have something?

Hmm. So sex irritates it?

It MAY be BV. You don't always have the fishy smell with BV. I would go get tested for it. OH you could go buy those testing strips made by Monastat.

She needs monistat. Pretty sure vagisil only treats the symptoms

Yes. It only gets really bad when I have intercourse the night/day before. It burns during sex like right on the outside of my hole, no where else.

I think I'll go get the strips just to see, and make an appointment on Monday. I should probably refrain from having sex until then, right?
