re: best way to get baby in daytime routine

posted 29th Dec
I stayed him up for 4 hours gave him a nice warm bath a warm bottle and now he is passed out in his crib finally. He has been asleep for 20 mins so maybe making him stay awake for a longer period of time will work

Hopefully. Thats what I always did, once they got a few months old. I always do 4-5 hours up then nap, then they went to bed for the night after being up for 4-5 hrs.

Lo now gets up and goes to bed at 12pm and sleeps till 4pm and goes to bed for the whole night around 7-8pm depending on how tired she is, and she sleeps all night. She started her 12-4pm naps around 5ish months maybe 6 months. lol

Well good luck.

thanks hes been sleeping for 2 hours now so ill just keep up with it and get him started on a daytime routine. I also put my toddler down for his nap at the same time so it was nice to finally have 2 hours to myself

I'm so happy for you.   it must have been so nice to get two hours in eh? Lol

Yes be.consistent with the timing on the naps. It wont take long at all for lo to.start to get tired at that time. You will see it. It makes a big difference then fighting with them to.go to sleep.
