So annoyed!!

So i was up all last night with a stomach bug feeling very ill and today and being sick and today i mentioned to my partner that im still not feeling the best and that i had not felt the baby move and was considering going to the hospital to make sure every thing was okay and assumed he was coming to the hospital with me then he says aw im going down to do my bets here and i looked at him and said oh are you not coming to the hospital with me and he said i thought you were okay to go your self by then i was angry but tried not to show it then he comes in and says to you want money for a taxi and me being moody says no il walk it and he says aw take the money for a taxi because i know it will be thrown back in my face i know what your like anyway now i was furious and still not feeling well so i just burst into tears and he turns round and says aw here we go with the water works i knew it was going to be my fault either way so i told him to get out and that i was going myself and i didn't want a smurfing taxi i would walk and he comes into the bedroom were im getting ready and still crying and throws money at me and says smurfing take it and leaves then has the cheek to text me and ask me why im treating him like this!!! So now im sitting here waiting for the rain to stop so i can walk to the hospital on my own im not touching his money it can sit here and he can take it back id rather walk than give him the satisfaction of using his money, Seriously am i the hormonal bitch hes making me out to be or am i right to be annoyed?????

I think you are overreacting. Take the money and go to the hospital, if the baby isn't moving, you need to be checked now. Not after you get over your little fit.

i think he's being selfish putting his bets first rather than supporting you at the hospital but please dont cut off your nose to spite your face, get the taxi and if using his money is that much of an issue pay it him back at a later date

He sounds like a peach. If I were concerned about baby, my husband would be concerned too. He would never let me go by myself.

Yeah i suppose your right i should do that   hes so selfish ive really had enough of him he always makes it out that im in the wrong after hes done something not saying im perfect but you have to compromise with he is never willing to do

i know how you feel ive been in this situation (still sort of am) and if he is doing this sort of thing before the baby is here whats he going to be like after baby is born , i would show him where the door is if he didnt book his ideas up, sounds like he has a gambling problem if his bets are more important the the well being of his child

My bf will stay home with our 2 kids if we dont have anyone to watch them or if he is at work someone from my family will go with me but otger wise he is there. I would be mad but I would do whatever I had to do to get to that hospital faster. Your baby could be in some sort of distress & you might need to have intervention. I'm not trying to be mean but I hope you two are not this selfish when the baby is born. You might just be hormonal but he really has no excuse. Please take the cab.

I'd be pissed too...DH has been there for every single doctor's appointment and there's no way he would let me go to the hospital by myself. BD sounds like an ass.

id be pissed too, but try not to take it to heart right now. things are going to feel a lot more emotional than they really are. id say just take the money for the taxi and get yourself to the hospital. it really isn't about pride or who is right at the moment. its about if the baby is safe and doing well or not. best of luck and hope the little one is okay.

Im not long back :/ i took the taxi and had to wait a few hours to be seen as it was very busy every thing is fine with the baby but the doctor wants me back for a growth scan in 2 weeks as the babys measuring 4 weeks ahead for some reason :/ the babys still breech and is laying very awkwardly they weren't to happy with that as they couldn't get any measurements but the heart beat was strong and all movements were fine i just have to keep myself hydrated they were talking about possibly starting me at 37 weeks but i have to talk to another doctor at my next appointment before any decisions are made

I took the taxi and every thing was fine with baby but they discovered the babys growth is 4 weeks ahead of what it should be so have to go back in a few weeks for a growth scan thanks for your support
