I'm late, as always. Anyway, I decided to be all cool and change up the spelling of Jacob, all I did was swap the c for a k (Jakob), which isn't common, but also isn't that uncommon. I correct people EVERYDAY on the way to spell his name, and some people still don't get it right. I don't regret spelling it that way, but it's also a little easier to grasp then Jakeub, which honestly, looks kinda dumb.

heres something simple that i dont think anyones mentioned ( if so sorry for the repeat)
He can always be nicknamed Jake and guess what.. everyone can spell Jake
Jakeub when in trouble or just by family and for anyone that cant get the spelling right just tell them to write jake

yeah I know exactly what you mean, I usually get alot of neg or just it reminds me of this a million times for the name we want for our girl ( nahla ) Finally i had to just say ASIDE from these things what do you think of the name it self. lol I was glad to acutally get some feedback..
While I did think Jakeub was strange seeing that he will be able to have a nickname anyone can spell is a big plus,
We did want to name our boy (if had one) Jaxon and I woulda nicknamed him jax or jack depending on how much of a hassle it got but now we changed our minds to Isaac.

My name is Crystalin and nobody ever spells it rite or says it rite for the 1st time even thought it sounds just how its spelled and vise versa.....i like jakeub its diff. and not boring,yea all the teachers he will have will get it wrong at 1st buh o well its not there kid..im 8 weeks and if its a girl im thinking Keira or Nevaeh or Tyeasha not sure bout boy names only have 1 picked out for now,but anyways dont change the spelling of Jakeub for nobody its cute!Quoting KCollins: My name is Kerry ~ it's not that complicated. but no one EVER spells it correctly. what ever you do, for god sakes do NOT name your daughter Xorean, Princess, Sparkel or anything else horribly ghetto.
just because you are black does not mean you have to go "urban" and Jayke'ub or how ever you were thinking of spelling it is just down right stupid.

I didn't think Jakeub was that bad but I'd leave the "e" out of it and make it Jakub. It's a cute name for a little boy.

Wow, these women can be fierce! I would definitely know to pronounce the name "Jacob" from the spelling you chose. As for the girl names...princess and destiny are overated...try combining them to make something unique...like...desius (deh-si-us) or prestiny or think of your own combinations. That is how some of the most beautiful names come about. And I know these women are probably going to shoot those down, but in the end, it is your choice and yours alone!
