Why did you feel the need to put (Jacob) behind it? Its not hard to pronounce, but no one will ever spell it correctly.

Personally, I think that every teacher your child ever has will hate you if you spell your childs name like that.

When I try to think of names for the baby I think ~ will my child have problems spelling this when they start spelling??

My name is Alyson. It's not THAT different, but it's still a pain in the ass.
Those of us who have actually dealt with having oddly spelled names, usually know what we're talking about. And most of us hate it.

I just get really frustrated when people jump all over someone for the way they are spelling their kids name, as long as its not too crazy out there.... then what does it matter? Shes carrying the baby and going through labor.

Ok forget it! Some people are giving me so much heat about the freaking spelling of his name. His dad is the one who actually chose it, I just looked it up in a freak name book to see the meaning and different ways of spelling it. I know all about having to correct people for misspelling a name seeing that mines is Brittany and I still have to freaking spell it for people....so oh well. thanks for the advice and criticism.

SHE doesn't have to deal with it. Her BABY has to deal with it. I know what I'm talking about here people. I'm the result of someone wanting to spell their kid's name "differently." It's a huge pain in the ass for the CHILD.

Thanks! I think I am going to regret joing this site if this is what I have to go thru. Why add more drama to my life. Damn, I know we all have hormonal issues but is there really a need to jump on someone for something as simple as this? I've seen a lot worst shit posted and do all of them get butchered for it  Hell no.
