Pressure

Im 39 weeks pregnant, have been dialted at 3 centimeters and effaced 70% for 2 weeks, my mucus plug came out wednesday but no baby!! well tonight i feel the baby moving a lot and with every movement im feeling pressure, is this normal? could this mean my LO is coming soon?

There is a Cadillac resting on the door of a doghouse....there is going to be a lot of pressure. No dilation, effacement, pressure, mucus plug, etc. is a gauge of when you can expect your baby to come. The closest thing you have to a sign is your due date.

No it doesn't mean your baby is coming soon. It means you're 39 weeks and 3cm dilated. Of course you're going to feel pressure.

Well, regardless LO is coming soon   But the last few weeks for me always consisted of pressure, braxton hicks contractions and dilation.

I was 4cm and 100% effaced at my last appointment with DS, I had him the next day at 39 weeks 6 days. I had started dilating at 35 or 36 weeks.

With my second I was 5 cm and 100% effaced at 39 weeks, I had her at exactly 40 weeks. I had started dilating with her at 31 weeks and the pressure then was horrid. She was already engaged in my pelvis and at -1 station I believe.

thats exactly what im experiencing now lots of pressure, contractions in my belly, and i know tmi but diharrea:/

Diarrhea can be a sign that labor is soon, it's kind of like your body's way of clearing itself out. I had it for the last 3ish weeks of my pregnancy, though.

But again, you're 39 weeks, baby is going to come out soon one way or another
