breast feeding

When is it possible to pump and bottle feed? I formula fed DD, but I want to at least try breastfeeding this time around... or think about it. I had bad PPD with DD, so i might rethink that. I would rather formula feed than have LO exposed to medications I may be taking

I'd say after about the 3rd day or so. you want to make sure your milk is in.

Sometimes breastfeeding can prevent PPD. I would try breastfeeding first and then if you feel you have PPD and need meds then stop breastfeeding.
