2nd opinion/new dr, kaiser.

Have kaiser. My PCP is not helpful with my FM (or my lady problems) and has written some rather smurffy notes in my chart. I want a new dr. Easy enough but since its kaiser they have instant access to everything.

Is there any way to get a new dr/2nd opinion,within kaiser, without them judging based off another drs horrible comments? Not sure if that makes any sense.

I feel like id be pre-judged because of the notes this other guy left because i went in crying at being at wits end with my FM and pain. He says I want my problems fixed and don't want to work for it because i refuse to try any more psych meds for the pain. (Don't want any med really, just more natural ways)

Do you only have Kaiser insurance? I hated Kaiser.

Yep. Wont get tricare back for 6-18 more months.

My pcp and ob make me want to rip my hair out. Im fighting them both. So glad my husband is healthy and my kids have great drs.

Oh, I have no idea then. I had Kaiser when I was on OHP when I was pregnant with my first. It was pretty bad. I never saw my PCP there though, I switched as soon as I delivered and married DH and got his insurance instead. I'm sorry that you have do deal with that BS

They all just want to throw a smurf ton of pills at me. I dont want meds
I take the important like my lamictal and thyroid but i dont need a pill for every little thing and they wont put the effort in to find answers.

Do your children see the pediatricians there? My son had Dr Miles for his first year. Then at his 12 month appointment she tried telling me I wasn't feeding him right because his weight kind of plateaued, but he had also just started walking   that's when we took him off OHP and added him to DH's insurance.

That's how my OB was there. I finally switched to a midwife at like 36 weeks, she even prescribed Vicodin the second I mentioned pubic bone discomfort. I prefer a more natural way of healing/ pain relief.

Yeah. Their pedi is amazing! She has helped us so much with our daughters special needs.

I've only reported my ob's nurse, she was a pain in the ass and was sooo unprofessional, I'm pretty ghetto but I can change the way I talk to people, they changed it to where the other specialists nurses handled me, and I kept my dr. I barely had to see her...

what's with kaiser dr's writing crappy notes in their patients charts?? i had the same thing happen to me a few years ago. kaiser dr's SUCK!!

IDK, but it was all so fast paced. Wait 30 min after your scheduled appointment in the waiting room, then go in and literally done after 5 min. They are just too big.

Goodluck!!! I miss having kaiser for my other 2 babies, they have blue cross from hubbys work, and their pedi is a douche, I went thru 4 diff obs with my last pregnancy because I had iud in and no1 wanted to mess with me   with kaiser as soon as they thought something was wrong with pregnancy they shipped me to specialist... and handled it, I can't wait to switch to kaiser, I've never had so many issues with dr.s and their egos
