much needed rant about liars...

Ok, so I know this girl... she's just a few months younger than me... so, she's an adult... or supposed to be... but she is a pathological liar.. I mean, she lies to me about the craziest crap... like one day she lied to a bunch of people saying my son and I were in comas... then a few mo ths later, said my ex wanted to slit my throat because I am with my now husband, which doesn't even sound like the gentle giant my ex is... I called her out on both lies and she still tried to say that they weren't lies. Then she lies about sending my son some toys. Sweetie, idc if yoh buy him toys, but don't lie about it. Either she sent them and they got lost or she never sent them to begin with. Then she starts making up smurf about her ex-fiance. Oh... and another thing she does thaymt irks me... she INVITES herself over and says something about it. Haha no sweetie, I don't have the energy to deal with people just inviting themselves over especially to spend the night. No. Ain't happening... ugh. Anyway... I don't like being lied to and she KNOWS I KNOW when she's lying, yet does it anyway. Its like she thrives off makong me mad. Well, no more nice girl. I'm takin the gloves off and miss bitch is comin out. -sigh- ok end rant...

I would get rid of her as a friend altogether. Doesn't sound like she's even worth your time!

People that do that have actual problems like psychological/medical issues that cause it a good majority of the time.

She doesn't sound like a simple liar. She sounds off her rocks.

!!!! Borderline Personality Disorder is one the major mental illnesses that causes pathological lying.

I've been nice and giving her chances. No more. She's a pathological liar. Or that's what it seems like. I honestly think she does it to get attention.

She's not going to get help because you don't appreciate it. It was only after my 11th suicide attempt that I was diagnosed.

Her disorder or possibility there of has nothing to do with how you feel. Grin and bare it or don't.

There's nothing else I can do. I've tried helping her get help. I've given her chances. Until she can find a way to stop... I have nothing more to say to her.
