Weird

So I came into our bedroom and tried to turn on the lamp by the door. It wouldn't turn on. So I came to the lamp by the bed and it came on but took a few seconds. Then I turned on the baby monitor and the sound works but the video won't. The tv turns on but the Xbox won't. When on the highest setting the fan feels like its on the lowest if that. The chargers for the IPads and phones flick on and off. The fridge light is barely on but the living room tv works.... Any ideas what could cause this?

Bad wiring in the house? I really don't know, just a guess.

I would have said a blown fuse, but things being dim but on???? A short somewhere maybe?

We've been in this apartment almost a year and a half. I hate it but we've never had a wiring issue.

A blown fuse could be it but it's things that are on the same plugs. One will work one won't or Both are really dim.

You aren't getting enough current. Possibly another apartment draining to much from the main box.

That could be it. That's why we never have hot water. Might as well be why I can't watch a movie.
