breathing problems?!?! help?

5 month dd was just sleep and i was playing on my phone, next thing i hear is her breathing very loud and very fast, it was almost like panting. it was so loud! i jumped up, turned the light on and her whole body was kind of moving with her breaths, i called SO in the room and picked her up where she continued to do it for a second. SO didnt see anything wrong with it.. he said "shes just breathing thru her nose" she ALWAYS breathes thru her nose... so why so loud and fast., it stopped not long after i picked her up and she woke up. she didnt turn blue. no cough, shes not sick. wtf was it? im not going to be able to sleep. is it possible she was having a bad dream?!

Sounds like probably a bad dream. But keep an eye and ear on it to be safe. If it keeps happening, see if her doctor can do anything to help her

Probably a bad dream my kids have all done that from time to time. If I don't talk to them or pick them up they usually start to cry.
