I would have given her a tylenol first to see if that helped. Chances are that's what they'll give her and charge you 150-200.00 for the visit.

Insurance covers it so I don't worry about money. And that is what I said at first thinking she was being her dramatic self. But when he called me and she was crying that was not normal. SO said they said she might have an Ear I faction even though she doesn't have a fever. They got in pretty fast ai hopefully theyll get her seen and out quickly.

Yuck. She's on Medicaid so it covers everything 100%.

They said her throat is fine but her eardrum looks iffy. Whateve that means haha

So she Does have an ear Infection. Said it doesn't even have anything to do With the swimming. SO is going to a 24 hr pharmacy to get her script right now. They said it was prolly building up and just the cold and wind today probably set it over the edge. I'm glad she's gettin meds. I just hate not being home with her

It was a good call to have her taken to the ER. I was a nanny for a newborn till he was almost 2, and when he would be laid on his back he'd start whaling, and I kept telling the mother, it's an ear infection. but she wouldn't take him in because he didn't have a fever. This went on for six months! Because she said he didn't have a fever! Finally took him in. He almost lost some of his hearing it was so bad! I wouldn't take a chance. Not all children get fevers with infections like most. I rarely did. And neither did this little boy. Good call. SO lost 50 percent of his hearing in one ear from childhood ear infections untreated. I wouldn't have second guessed if she were inconsolable.

Yeah I'm glad she went too. I've heard of kids having ear infections and never showing signs and have severe hearing loss and scarring from it. Lylians old daycare lady said this happened to her son and she felt awful. She found out when he was older and failed the hearing test at school. So she took him in and the dr asked if he had a lot f war I factions as a baby and she said no never. And the dr said it was awful. He just never showed signs of it. Not all kids ah dle stuff the same. And it's like my dd to be a drama queen but not crying real tears over pain. Maybe over not getting her way haha. But when she's being a drama queen about sickness she doesn't cry. She does a fake whine.

yeah SO discovered at the worst possible time it ruined his life plan. SO was in the middle of screenings for the marines... lol failed the hearing test.

And aw your DD's spellings different but I never noticed, I'm naming my daughter Lillian  !

Awwe   we love classic old fashioned names. But I love the letter y in a girls name. Not to be trendeigh but because I always have. So we have a lylian and are having a Scarlytt.

Thanks. People hate that I used y's because they think it's dumb but idgaf. I've always loved y's in girls names. It's not skmething I did just to be cool.
