9 month old wont sleep in crib!!

I just don't know what to do. My daughter is 9 months old and she started sleeping through the night at 7 weeks. For this last week though, she will not sleep her in crib. She will fall asleep if we are holding her or is laying on the couch but as soon as we lie her down, she starts screaming and crying. Poor thing looks terrified. She has been sick this week and very clingy (which I dont mind most of the time) but I don't know what to do. We have tried everything from a night light to music. I don't believe in letting her cry it out, so what do I do? Is this normal?

It's probably because she's sick. If you don't believe in CIO, then I guess cosleep?
