Stretch Marks and Coco butter

posted 28th Dec
Has anyone used the Palmers Coco Butter lotion and had good results? If so, how long did you apply it for?

I use coconut oil. Your skin can't absorb petroleum based products as well as natural oils.

I use both oil and coco butter. Doesn't work just keeping my skin hydrated, lol.

cocoa butter feels great on skin, keeps ti hydrated and from itching. Nothing however helps with stretch marks. They arne't on the outside of the skin...they are inside the skin... caused by stretching not from not being moisturized

This! Lotions and oils only penetrate the first few layers of skin. Stretchmarks are deeper then that so none of that smurf helps

I used baby oil and cocoa butter religiously, even knowing that nothing will stop stretch marks. I was super itchy and it helped though. I did not get them.

I am COVERED in stretch marks now.. doesn't matter that I used every lotion and oil I could get my hands on (I typically have dry skin so I am a lotion-aholic) my doctor just had to remind me that stretch marks are genetic they aren't something a lotion can fix... I have had a lot of help post-pregnancy with lightening my stretch marks using Mederma Stretch Mark Therapy... hope that helps

I used it with my first pregnancy religiously & still got them bad. It won't prevent stretch marks. If your skins elasticity sucks you're gonna get em
