can he have dropped already?

I am 30 weeks and for the last 3 days i have felt constant pressure and its down in my cervix area. My sisters swear even after 4 ultrasounds that i am farther then they said. She also says he is probably dropping or i am dialatiing. My question is can i dilate at 30 weeks and what does it feel like. Also how early can a baby drop, and what does it feel like?

Your midwife would tell you, he may just be very low. I have carried this bub very low and I thought I had started to drop earlier on until I actually did, there was a HUGE difference.

It's possible to drop early, my friend's baby dropped around 30 weeks. But your ob/mw will let you know if your baby has actually dropped or you're just carrying low. Also, the only way to tell if you've dilated is to have a pelvic exam. There's no way to tell just by what you're feeling.

I am also 30 weeks with a baby boy, and I can barely walk or lift my legs to put on pants. It is awful. And constant pressure and pain. My doctor said that with each pregnancy the pain unfortunately is worse because my insides are weaker. And, this is my 4th baby.

You are at the point where when the baby grows, you will really feel a difference. As the baby continues to grow and basically fill up your whole abdominal area, you will feel new aches, pains and stretching sensations. You dr would have definately been able to tell the difference between a baby due on your due date and one due like 8-10 weeks earlier. So, no, I don't think your date is off where you are actually term now.

My little girl dropped at 29 weeks so yes it is possible.  

am 32wk5d and this is my 6th pregnancy i tell you yes they can drop early sometimes not my little girl hasnt she is stubborn lol i had to get induce with the other girls but my boys came on there own

What did it feel like for you!?

I do think he gas dropped its becoming constant pressure gin my pelvis like a week ago he turned and he was always in my ribs and now i only feel him kick them everyonce in a while. And i feel more punches down lower.

I felt alot of pressure mostly when i walked it felt like i was carrying a bowling ball in side me lol. And a ton of people commented on how she dropped they could tell by looking at me. When i went to my appointment that week my doctor had told me she dropped.

I can try to put up a picture of the difference in last week and this week and see if it looks like it. But i just have constant pressure and pain so i am definitely asking about it!

I can't really tell so I am not sure if it does or not but it sure feels like it!
